Clock delivery, Direct/Connect delivery and Contract trade via Floriday. What is the status of this?

Many growers want to process all sales directly in the Floriday screens. This means that they want to organise their clock deliveries, the processing of their direct sales and contract trade in Floriday. We are working hard to achieve this. With this news item, we are giving you an update.

Creating and processing clock deliveries

In Floriday you can create an Electronic Delivery Form (EAB) for a clock delivery. You can do this at the Aalsmeer, Naaldwijk, Rijnsburg, Eelde and Veiling Rhein-Maas auction locations. Part of the clock delivery can be offered for clock pre-sale. This is available for all Royal FloraHolland locations. We are still working on this for the Rhein Maas Auction.

In Floriday you enter delivery information, choose the correct auction groups and auction groups and add items or lots. You then determine the load and the number of packaging units and take care of logistics. At the end you can print a delivery form to attach to the trolley(s). You can already find almost everything you need to create a clock delivery in Floriday. We are still working on a number of things, including the ability to correct or edit a clock delivery and to create a delivery for Plantion.

 

Creating and processing direct orders

You can also easily offer lots to buyers who buy on FloraMondo or FloraXchange in Floriday. You can also create direct orders manually*. You will then have the option to send an EKT or a Connect-EAB. In this way, the customer receives direct confirmation and, after handling the delivery, you can print the Connect delivery form. You can already find almost everything you need to process a direct order in Floriday. We are still working on correcting and cancelling the direct sales deliveries. Just like clockservice (direct sales) for Veiling Rhein-Maas

*Please note that this is a temporary solution. By the end of 2020, buyers will no longer be able to manually enter orders. From that moment onwards, all buyers will have to place their orders digitally.

 

Contract trade

Many growers who conduct direct trade with growers do this on a contractual basis. Floriday is currently working on a functionality to allow growers to do this in Floriday too. This is essential for growers and buyers to work according to 100% Digital for their contract trade too. This functionality will allow you to establish your contract with a buyer; the contract is entered with all specifications discussed and the buyer confirms it via Floriday. After the confirmation, you can call on this contract. As a grower, you can call on and handle the desired amount for a certain period. In the long term, you will also be able to conclude a contract because you interact with one another. The first screens have now been designed and are being tested with a number of growers and buyers.
