The Floriday support team is here to answer growers’ and others’ questions each working day. Growers can pose questions to our experts by telephone, email, or through our online chat service. Our Floriday coach, Paula, is in close contact with growers who are using - or want to start using - Floriday, and knows the issues people are facing. Paula has made a list of the most often-heard questions and their answers below.

Starting to use Floriday

Paula: We get a lot of different questions. We’re receiving questions and reports from growers who are just starting to use Floriday, but also from growers who have already gained some experience and are ready to start learning how to use the more advanced functionalities of the platform. Questions being asked by those just starting to use Floriday:

  • I have created my Floriday account. What should I do first?
First configure your standard settings in Floriday. How to do this is explained in detail in this video:
  • How do I make my products visible?
You can make your products visible by adding them to the Floriday catalog. In the Floriday menu on the left, click ‘Catalog’ and then ‘Add item’. Follow the prompts on screen to add your product to the catalogue. Do you need further information about adding products? Find out more here.

Offering products using Floriday

Paula: Growers use Floriday to offer products through several channels. We speak to growers who want to sell their products through the clock, but we also speak to plant and flower growers who want to offer their products for direct trade. Questions we’re getting in this regard include:

  • I want to make a clock delivery through Floriday. How do I do this?
There are three options: 1. Click on ‘Create clock delivery’ in the dashboard; 2. Go to Supply > Clock > ‘Create clock delivery’; 3. Go to Process > Deliveries > ‘Create delivery’. This last option will also prompt you on the basis of previous clock deliveries. These can be copied and adjusted to suit. Would you like to know more about clock deliveries? Click here.

  • I’m a grower of potted plants and I want to fill in my week lists using Floriday. How do I do this?
When you start filling in your week lists in Floriday, you should first set a number of standard variables. You need to do so only once. One such variable is the price group to which you allocate your customers. Subsequently, in the catalogue prices screen, you can enter the availability, number of units and prices for the week lists. Find out more about filling in the week lists.

  • I’m a grower of flowers and I want to offer my products for direct trade. How do I do this?
You can offer your products for sale on FloraMondo and FloraXchange. Create the batches you wish to offer under Supply > Availability. Subsequently, in the batch prices screen, fill in the prices and offer the products for direct trade. Would you like to know more about batch prices? Click here.

Extra options in Floriday

Paula: Growers who have been using Floriday for a while are asking more specific questions. These are more detailed and concern the extra functionality offered by Floriday. Questions they ask include:

  • I heard that the catalogue prices page also supports promotions and special offers. How do I do make use of this functionality?
That’s right, you can create one or more promotions in the week lists for specific customers. To do so, follow these steps: in the catalog prices screen, select an article and in the green bar at the bottom, click on ‘Create promo’. Follow the prompts on screen and save the promotion. The buyer will now see the promotion price in their week list. Would you like to know more? Click here.

  • Can I offer my batches for sale for a longer period than one day?
Yes, you can! You can set the price in batch prices for a maximum of one week. To do so, follow these steps: In Floriday, go to Supply > Direct trade > batch prices Click on the three dots next to the article and then on ‘set validity’. Here, you can enter until when this product at this price should remain online, up to a maximum of seven days.

Paula: Obviously, we’re getting a lot more questions than these and we’re doing our best to answer them as comprehensively as possible. Do you have any questions? Do you need to know how a function works, or do you need help setting up your Floriday account? Please don’t hesitate to call us on +31(0) 174-352070, send an email to support@floriday.io or start a chat in Floriday. You are also welcome to make use of our instructions pages.
