Since the beginning of the summer, growers' associations can also be active on Floriday. In the meantime, several months have passed and the number of digital shopping streets has grown significantly. In this news message, we give an update on this feature, its deployment at the Aalsmeer Trade Fair and share the experience of Addenda and Air So Pure.

 

Connecting made easy

As a buyer, when you search for a particular grower under the heading 'Network', you can use a filter to look for growers who belong to a grower group. By selecting this filter, you can discover at a glance which growers are part of a growers' group. This way, buyers can easily make a connection with one grower or all growers in the group. Of course, you can also click through to the grower's shop.

 

Increasing findability

Addenda is just one of the grower groups that you can filter on as a buyer. Addenda is a brand for plants, founded by an association of growers. Ellen Damen, Marketing & Communication coordinator at Addenda, about this function: "For Addenda, this is a very useful tool. Customers can now easily find Addenda's growers through Floriday."

Furthermore, Ellen is also proactively using the link to the digital shopping street: "We've already used the url several times in newsletters and on LinkedIn. At Addenda, we will certainly be using these more often for various means of communication. I also thought the QR code at the Aalsmeer Trade Fair was very well thought out! It is nice to be able to give your communication an extra boost by referring your customers directly to the current supply of our growers. The story is reinforced and this makes the path to purchase easy. What they see, they can buy immediately!"

 

Access to product information

In addition to findability, product information is also an important goal for directing customers to the digital shopping street. Air So Pure is a growers' association committed to promoting the brand and the healthy effects of its products. For Manon van der Heijden, communication officer at Air So Pure, the added value lies in the product information that can be found on Floriday: “Both My colleague Carmen van Weelden and I aren’t active in sales, but with the help of the QR code we can refer to our shopping street where the entire Air So Pure assortment can be found. We have even included the link in emails when we get questions about the size and availability of our assortment."
