These developments will help you with 100% Digital

We are taking the next step in the digital transformation of the floriculture industry; all transactions at the Royal FloraHolland marketplace will only be concluded digitally by the end of 2020. Digitisation increases the efficiency and speed of both supply and demand. Furthermore, it helps to fully comply with the tightened financial legislation in Europe. In this newsletter, we will take you through the most important developments that will help you achieve 100% Digital.

Working digitally has benefits for both growers and buyers. The risk of incorrect order information is decreased if both growers and buyers record their orders digitally. If the supply is correctly listed in the systems, less mutual contact is needed regarding incorrect orders or invoices. This saves time in the end. Buyers will always be able to gain insight into the growers' correct current prices and corresponding specifications. Correctly recording the order also ensures that the arrival of products can easily be reported and invoices can easily be checked. In addition, working digitally helps to exchange information about certification and sustainability correctly and in full.

How does Floriday help you achieve 100% Digital?

• Create clock deliveries in Floriday
  Early this year, it was made possible to create a clock delivery in Floriday for the locations Aalsmeer, Naaldwijk, Rijnsburg and Veiling Rhein-Maas. The current feature is still a basic functionality. We are talking to users in order to further optimise it. We expect it to be completely finished in April. We are also working on clock presales for Veiling Rhein-Maas and are preparing clock delivery for the Eelde and Plantion auctions. • Create direct sales supply in Floriday
  You can easily create lots and offer them to buyers on FloraMondo or FloraXchange. We are currently still working on the Connect-EAB in Floriday for the handling of direct trade. In April, we expect that you will be able to handle deliveries fully in Floriday, including payment. With this, we are replacing the Connect-EAB. Are you interested? Sign up for our workshops.
  
  
• Software providers working hard on links to Floriday
  Many growers will only be able to work according to the principles of 100% Digital when the link between their software package and Floriday has been established. The more than 30 software providers who provide software packages for growers are working hard to create this link or are preparing to do so. We are maintaining a status update per software provider to see whether a link has been made, noting the particular module. Check the latest status per software provider here.
  
  
• Buyers are assisted with 100% Digital
  The commitment and efforts of the buyers are of great importance for the transition to 100% Digital. You will no longer be allowed to process orders via telephone, email or WhatsApp. Mutual contact (such as via phone) will always remain, of course, but direct trade flows must always be initiated by the buyer. This is a new way of working for many buyers. For this reason, we will fully support buyers in the transition to working 100% digitally this year. We are organising various information meetings for this purpose. In addition to this, we are developing a purchasing dashboard for buyers, so that buyers can easily view supply in Floriday and can link it to their own purchasing system. Buyers can then quickly make requests with growers.
