“The lot photo function saves us 2 minutes per trolley”

Who are you? What do you do? 
My name is Mike Huijnen and I’m the head of logistics at Plantenkwekerij Leo Ammerlaan. 
 
What issues has Floriday resolved for you? 
We were receiving complaints that the photos weren’t fully accurate where maturity and flowering were concerned.  
But that’s a thing of the past thanks to Floriday’s lot photo function. The photos are now actually attached to the trolley.  
 
How does the photo function fit into your process? 
The trolleys are taken from production to the docks, where we collect the information and draw up the forms. The photos are taken and, using a scan of the QR code, they are attached to the right lot. This ensures that the photos are truly representative of the lots we’re auctioning. 
 
How has this helped? 
In addition to eliminating the complaints we were receiving, the process has become more efficient. Per trolley, we’re saving about one and a half to two minutes, and the boys can now go home on time! 
 
What could still be improved? 
The Floriday user instructions could do with some improvement. We have two young colleagues who figured it out themselves, but I can imagine that others may find it more difficult.
