Links between packages and Floriday have been created in conjunction with the various software suppliers. The first software supplier, FreshPortal, has recently been connected, with the first growers already successfully using the link.
Floriday is in talks with dozens of software suppliers about a link to the platform in the near future. There will be close cooperation between these suppliers, our growers and the Floriday team to get things done efficiently. During a testing phase, the connection to Floriday will be tested by a number of growers so that the system can be fine-tuned as required. When everything is to everybody's satisfaction, the link will be rolled out to other growers.
Future-Proof Links
To create a future-proof link between the software packages and Floriday, the traditional links (EABs, VMP and Florecom order) are currently being converted into API links. In addition to faster data exchange between different software programs, these new API links will allow growers to work from both their own software package and Floriday. This enables growers to organise their operations as they see fit.
Almost 700 Orders via FreshPortal Already
FreshPortal is the first software supplier to be linked to Floriday. Robin Jongkind is the founder of FreshPortal and over the past 3 months he has adapted his software package so that it integrates seamlessly with Floriday. Gerbera nursery WB Gerbera's was the first grower to use the link for its direct sales. Bea Rijm-Schouten of WB Gerbera's explains that the link between FreshPortal and Floriday has long been a wish. "We now have all the stock and orders in one place and no longer have to switch between the different systems." Almost 700 orders have been placed already. "The link will be rolled out to three other growers later this month," says Robin Jongkind, founder of FreshPortal. Jongkind will also start work on the replacement of the EAB.
