Promote and sell products with HortiHeat's order lists

The HortiHeat app on Floriday enables growers to promote and sell their products at an incredible speed. The first months of 2019 were dominated by the 'Order Lists' pilot in HortiHeat and this pilot has been successfully completed!

Why HortiHeat?

With HortiHeat, growers can promote and sell their products quickly and easily. Through HortiHeat, they can send professionally prepared order lists to customers, instead of the notorious outdated Excel lists. This offers a number of important benefits:

  • The link with Floriday:
    This allows growers to sell from a central stock that they manage in Floriday, which prevents orders from exceeding available stock. In addition, all orders are visible in one overview in Floriday.

  • Your own webshop made easy:
    After sending an order list, the customer receives an email with a link to a page that resembles a grower's own webshop. This looks a lot more professional than an Excel list and is also simpler to use. Customers can easily fill their shopping cart and place an order on that page, without needing an account.

Ronald Hartman from nursery Tesselaar was one of the first pilot users and has the following to say about HortiHeat’s order lists:

‘Before we worked with HortiHeat, we sent out Excel lists on a daily basis, which meant that we sometimes sold more than we had in stock. The order lists in HortiHeat prevent this problem,’ Ronald explained.

HortiHeat offers benefits for buyers as well

Because products ordered are directly removed from the grower’s stock, buyers don’t end up empty-handed (unless of course they place their order too late ;-)). In addition, in the near future the ECTs will be directly visible in the system of the buyer.
