Currently, hard work is underway on the apps in Floriday, such as HortiHeat. This app links seamlessly to Floriday enabling HortiHeat to work with Floriday perfectly. Below, we explain what HortiHeat is and what it can mean for you as a grower.

What is HortiHeat?

HortiHeat offers marketing tools that allow growers to keep in touch with their networks. At present, as a grower, you can send professionally designed ordering lists to your customers using the HortiHeat app instead of the familiar Excel lists. These ordering lists allow you to simply sell the lots you created in Floriday. After all, customers can order directly on these ordering lists, whereby the numbers ordered will immediately be deducted from your inventory in Floriday. Therefore, you will never sell more than you have in stock! In addition, the orders will visibly return to Floriday, which is very convenient for your overview.

What are the advantages of HortiHeat?

HortiHeat offers many advantages for growers. We want to make it easy for you, the grower, so that you can work as efficiently as possible for optimal sales of your products. The advantages of HortiHeat are:

• A link to Floriday: this enables you to sell from a central inventory that you maintain in Floriday, so that orders never exceed your stock. In addition, all orders are directly visible in Floriday in a single overview.
• Saving time and a professional appearance: By now, growers are very apt at sending Excel lists. However, this doesn't look very professional and as a grower, you are forever copying the orders in your own system. Using HortiHeat, you can send a professionally designed ordering list, campaign or quote super quickly.
• Easy collaboration with colleagues: You can keep track of contact moments with your customers that are visible to your colleagues, ensuring that everybody knows exactly what has been discussed with each customer.

Status of the HortiHeat app

At present, the pilot on the ‘ordering lists’ feature is running until the end of March. During this phase, we are busy testing the ordering list together with the growers in order to improve it even further. The ordering lists are designed to put an end to the Excel lists. After the pilot, the ‘ordering lists’ tool will become available to everyone and we will also roll out the other marketing tools.
