Royal FloraHolland was at the Aalsmeer Trade Fair from Wednesday 6 November through Friday 8 November 2019. The Floriday team has informed growers from around the world about Floriday. With Floriday, we are building on the foundation of the digital infrastructure of the floriculture industry. It is a platform that creates many opportunities. ‘What’s your next step?’ was the central question at the fair. In addition, each grower could ask their own specific questions regarding Floriday at the help desk.
Promoting the new functionalities
During the fair, a number of new functionalities were promoted among growers. One of the new options is promoting novelties among buyers. Growers mark their products as novelties, making the product visible on the growers’ public page.
In addition, growers that seek to supply their products on the clock via Floriday now have this possibility. You create your Electronic Delivery form in Floriday and your products appear on the clock the next day.
In the last couple of days, the Insights app presented the possibility to consult a ‘Market image’. With this component in Insight, you can find, among others, a pricing index for each product group, which in the long term, can give you a good impression of the pricing on the market. Interested?
